ABOUT THE LIBRARY:
The main focus of the Brookdale-Ecuador Library is to serve the teaching and research needs of faculty and students. The library's book collection supports the programs taught at the university.
Students are frequently assigned research work as part of their studies. Brookdale`s library, with an average of approximately 25 books per students, satisfies the needs of those who it serves in an extraordinary manner. There are a total of over 12,000 volumes in English. The Library has a special feature, the Latin America Collection, one of the largest of its kind in the region.
The library has many magazines and newspapers for examples:
Business Week, Fortune, Forbes, Time, U.S. News, etc.
Videos: Speech, Economics, Human Geography, Psychology to mention a few.
Catalogs: Universities: USA , Switzerland , Australia .
All of our students are welcome to borrow any of the library materials

The Library is located on the second floor of the building.
In the following map you will find the location on the books by suject.
They are classified with the library Congress-Subject Headings.
With Microisis Program you will find the book by author; title and subject in the library`s Computer.

CIRCULATION POLICY
Student check-out periods:
One week ( with ISIC or Identity Card)
- Books (Circulation)
- Magazines
- Newspaper
Items that may NOT the checked out of the library:
- Reference Books
- Videos
- Reserve Matrial
Prohibited:
- No drinking
- No eating

LIBRARY HOURS
Students are allowed to enter the library during the following hours:
Monday - Thursday: 11 am - 7:30 pm
Friday: 11 am - 5 pm
