The Brookdale Collage has its open doors so that the representatives of the diverse universities of the United States can make use of their facilities.

“International Women Day” Conference
Conference began at 6:30 . The panel members were Sharon Ketchum, April Herbert, Maria Philips, Joyce de Ginnatta and Genoveva Mayer. The discussion topic was “How the woman can became a professional”. All panel members gave their views on the future for young women in college.

 

“A Day of Integration to Punta Blanca “Mar Club”
On May 13 th BCC students accepted the kind invitation from the owners of the Punta Blanca “Mar Club” to spend a day of integration at their facilities. The students had a great afternoon enjoying many of the amenities such as Cyclone Charlie as seen in this picture.

 

University of Florida Representative Visit
A large number of interested people attended an informative talk given by Ms. Jill Lingard about the University of Florida´s Business Program . UF is located in Gainesville , Florida

 

Pizza Party
On July 19, we had a Pizza Party to integrate the Freshman, Transferring and Welcome Back students. This event was in our facilities and all students had a great time.

“Teaching Technique” Workshop
Brookdale College , in its desire to promote the continuous professional development of English Instructors, offered the “Teaching Technique” Workshop which was given by Dr. Frank J. Paoni, professor at Brookdale College , Lincroft New Jersey .

This workshop was directed to English instructors and diplomas were handed out to the participants.

 

Humberto Mata Guest Speaker
On July 19, 2005 the very distinguished political figure Humberto Mata was the guest speaker in the Political Science class. In this picture you can appreciate BCC students with Mr. Mata and Dr. Whitman.

 

Tea Party
We had a Tea Party last August 30th., as a welcome for the Fall Term and our special guest was Mr. Joseph Garzozi, from the City Tourism Bureau. He made a remarkable speech on “What is the meaning of being a city of Guayaquil/Brookdale Ambassador ” and taught us many ways to know the more important facts about our city.

Tzely Shalev
Tzely Shaley received her Associate in Arts Degree as well as the “Scholar of the year” at Brookdale College Ecuador .
